This month, there will be a market that gives back with nearly 20 local retail vendors and food trucks benefiting the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund and Young Burn Survivors Camp.
On Saturday, June 27th from 11-6pm, many amazing local brands will be popping up shop at the Summer Street Soirée presented by Modern Fort and The Love List. Partial proceeds from our sales that day (and all those involved) will be going back to the Young Burn Survivors Camp to help pay for each camper and the operating costs of the camp.

More than 3800 professional fire fighters from fifty-one communities in BC and the Yukon are building the Burn Fund’s vision by dedicating their time and skills to support burn survivors.
Burn survivors are one of the most resilient individuals to overcome significant changes in their lives, especially for kids. We’re talking about physical and emotional scars that may never go away. Despite the worries and stress they carry on their shoulders (at such a young age), most children will always have a smile on their faces once accompanied by support.
Our goal is to help pay for some of these children to attend the Young Burn Survivors Camp so that they can connect with other peers that have gone through the same experience as they have. Counseling is provided during camp as well and this adds to the value of the camp for these burn survivors.
