In a way, Spring cleaning is one of my favourite things to do, but it can also feel very daunting!  There are certain areas of our home and our yard that get a lot of attention throughout the year and then there are other’s that get… ahem… completely neglected.  Those neglected spaces like our shed, for example, are the totally overwhelming areas to attempt to clear out and clean.

This year, we were lucky to have some help from City Errands to get the ball rolling.  There was a massive wooden table in our shed that was making it hard for us to even access the shed, let alone get around it to access the other items in there.

City Errands to the rescue

Oh my goodness! Don't look, you guys! This is the inside of our shed!!!

City Errands in action

Our City Errands ‘errand runners’ helped us get this giant table out of the shed so that we could get in there and start clearing out the rest of the shed.  My mom wanted the table delivered to her house, as they were going to put it to use.  The table was delivered to them and my mom had them bring back a mirror to our house.  The boys also loaded up their van with an old couch at my parents’ place and disposed of it for them.  All these things that have been on both of our TO-DO lists for months, but no one in our family has a truck, so we’ve been putting it all off!

Well, it’s spring, so it’s time to get things done now, right?! 😉

We moved this full-length mirror from our bedroom to our living room and it opened up our living space so much! Again, this has been on ‘my list’ FOREVER!

I just wanted to thank you for mentioning the City Errands guys as I used them a couple weeks ago to move a crib. The fellow that helped was super friendly and they did an awesome job and it was honestly very hassle free… plus he let me use the code you gave so it was a great deal!

This looks like a great idea! I do a massive spring cleaning every year, however as a single mom it is hard to deal with bulky items that I have no need for. Thanks for sharing!
