Saint Andrew’s Park, North Vancouver
Activities April 7, 2012 Jessica Blumel 5

Spring has sprung in Vancouver and it is time to spend as much time outdoors as we can before the rain sets in again!
Saint Andrew’s Park is probably my favourite park in North Vancouver. It is on the corner of 11th and St. Georges behind St. Andrew’s Church. What I love most about this park is how much space there is. There are 4 different play areas with different play structures. You get all your standard park features such as swings and slides but one thing that is really unique to this park is the paved path that encircles it. What’s fun is that the church provides Flintstone cars and other push cars (which are left out for everyone’s use) so that your child can either use the paved track or roam around the fully gated park in the cars. There are also buckets, shovels and other sand toys in one of the play areas. There is a Port-O-Potty at the park as well as kid-sized picnic tables for snack breaks. Bring a blanket, some lunch and hang out for a couple of hours while your children are totally entertained. Have fun!
