School is only in session for a few more weeks! The countdown has begun, mostly for the teachers 😛 . Parents everywhere are starting the hunt for fun, educational and engaging summer camps for their wee ones.  While summer camps aren’t quite as hard to get into as the Vancouver real estate market (badum- ching), spaces DO fill up and I have been on that disappointing end in the past.  NOT THIS YEAR!
I am looking forward to those long summer evenings and pool days and waterparks but, as a full-time work from home mama, having the girls in camps that they’ll enjoy is very important to me! Which is why I have July and August summer camps all lined up already!
One of the camps I am super excited about, because I just KNOW how much Portia is going to love it, is the Mt. Seymour Summer Eco-Adventure Camp.
Mt Seymour Eco-Adventure Camp offers experiential summer programs for kids, aged 5 to 14, that incorporate fun, education, self-awareness, skill development, and meaningful connections to the environment.
The Mt. Seymour programs have 2 instructors per 14 kids in each group, which is the lowest ratio of all North Shore adventure camps.  It’s nice to know the kids will get such great hands-on time with their instructors.
Here are the dates of the camps offered:

We re-introduce kids to a simpler, more connected way of life where they are encouraged to engage their senses to the fullest and learn by participation. Your kids will come home tired, muddy, and brimming with exciting stories from the day!
A huge bonus to registering for one of the Mt. Seymour Summer Camps is that your child will receive a complimentary season’s pass for the 2016-2017 winter season! That’s almost a $160 value right there!
To find out more about the Eco-Adventure camps, visit the Mt. Seymour website, follow them on Twitter and on Facebook.
