A GREAT event is happening in Vancouver mid-May. Some of our favourite brands are hosting a pop-up shopping event called the Maker’s Market.
Seven wildly popular local children’s brands have come together to host Vancouver’s biggest independent brand pop-up shopping event, where shoppers can meet their favourite kids’ designers and shop their collections.
These brands are locally designed and made, putting them on the map in Canada as the go-to brands for babies and children. “The Maker’s Market” will be a one-stop shop for parents and gift-givers looking for the coolest, most unique and fashionable locally-made goods for babies and children.
The event will take place at Frontier Luxury, 332 W. 8th Avenue, Vancouver, from 10am-4pm on May 16, 2015. DJ 50 Hz masterz will DJ the event, fresh juices and snacks will be available for purchase from The Juice Truck, and Hugo’s Churros will be selling warm, organic sugar-covered churros.
The brands participating in the event include:
Collectively, these brands have over 165,000 social media followers and a devoted celebrity following. These local brands have been featured in such publications as Lucky Magazine, Pregnancy & Newborn Mag, New York Daily News, Oh Joy Blog, CTV Morning Live, Today’s Parent Mag, JillianHarris.com, Vitamin Daily, BC Living, The Glitter Guide, Paypal Blog, and many more.
Please note: To promote environmental awareness, The Maker’s Market will be a bag-less event, encouraging shoppers to bring reusable bags from home.
