As you all know, running a household is a lot of work! Whether you work or you’re at home with littles, the hours in the day often feel too few to get through the to-do list.  As often as I tell myself that I’m going to be more organized, do proper weekly meal-planning and only buy what we NEED to make those meals, when I get to the grocery store… well, it doesn’t always go that way.  Sometimes I have kids with me and my attention is more on them then on what exactly I am supposed to be getting and sometimes I forget my list at home and try to ‘wing it’.  Yah, that never works out very well!

This is why I have always been so interested in those produce home delivery companies.  The idea of popping online, ordering up what you need for the week and forgetting about it until it gets delivered to your door… it has always just sounded so… luxurious :)

I recently had the opportunity to try out one of these delivery services! It’s called Green Earth Organics, and … as the name states, all the produce that is sent your way is not only fresh and delicious, but ORGANIC as well!

We had 2 weeks of the Medium bin delivery and we were super impressed with the quality of the produce we received as well as the service.  The man who delivered our bin was so friendly and he added to the whole experience!  Here is what was in our medium bin which costs $38.

green earth organics north shore mama review and giveaway

A cantaloupe, romaine lettuce, celery, onions, potatoes, apples, tomatoes, peaches, cucumber, purple beans, bananas and corn on the cob!! It was enough to last our family the week (we bought some berries on the side) and it was all so good.

There’s something about knowing you’re eating organic that makes a meal just taste better, I find.  I love knowing I am serving my children healthy foods and this was a great way of going about it.  And let’s not forget how nice it is to just have to pick out meats, dairy and snacks at the grocery store instead of also piling in all the produce!

Here’s your chance to give Green Earth Organics a try!! Use the promo code: “North Shore Mama” and receive $10 off your first order! I definitely recommend Green Earth Organics as your fruit and veggie delivery service and I certainly hope you’ll take advantage of this discount!

I am a BIG fruit and veggie lover, so it is really hard to choose a favourite! I think I will go with lychees, although blueberries are also right up there in my number 1 spot…
