Every year, this authentic German Christmas Market pops up right in the heart of Vancouver, making you feel like you are suddenly wandering around a little European village.  It is one of my favourite ways of getting into the holiday spirit.

The decorations are festive, you can find  Christmas gifts for everyone on your list and there are all sorts of amazing food and drink  options to enjoy as you make your way around the market.

The Vancouver Christmas Market is an annual can’t-miss Vancouver Christmas event running from November 22 to December 24, 2013.

Your wee ones will want to check out the Christmas Carousel at the  Kids’ Market, where they can also make gifts for family and friends.

Some of the traditional German specialties being offered are:

  • German Bratwurst
  • suckling pig
  • Swiss Raclette
  • Lebkuchen
  • roasted chestnuts
  • baked apples
  • and so much more!

During the daytime and evening hours Vancouver Christmas Market will offer a kaleidoscope of performances, including traditional European choirs and dance performances, world class string ensembles, worldly gospel choirs and festive carol singers. The Pavilion Stage will also host daily feature kid’s activities and a variety of school choirs and bands will show off their talent during their performances on stage.

I am happy to let you know that you can WIN 2 tickets to the Christmas Market!  To enter, please fill out the Rafflecopter form below.  Winner must claim their prize within 48 hours or a new winner will be chosen.  Good luck!

Thank you so much for reading!

Oops I made a comment earlier-my fav part of the holidays is spending quality time with family members, especially those I don’t get to see often, with the fact that they travel far from out of town to see me. It’s special to me.
