I don’t want to jinx this in any way, but summer in Vancouver so far has been … pretty much perfection. By perfection, I mean HOT. I’m a total sun-seeking, sun-lover, so I’m in heaven right now.
The only thing with this heat is that my home doesn’t have built in air conditioning. We have a south facing home and it can get prettyyyyy warm by mid-afternoon. I’ve tried fans, but I honestly feel like they just push hot air around the house instead of actually cooling. It felt like a bit of a lost cause, until I was introduced to the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link.
The Dyson Pure Hot+ Cool Link heats in winter, cools in summer and intelligently purifies the air year round.
It is honestly HEAVENLY being in the same room as this machine when it’s hot out. It cools so nicely. I can’t wait to see what the heating option is like in the fall/winter, because I am always cold during those seasons.
The amazing thing about the Dyson Hot+Cool Link is that it not only does it heat and cool, but it’s main function is that it’s an air purifier.
The Dyson 360 Glass HEPA filter removes 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen and allergens, bacteria, dust and mould spores, pet dander and potentially harmful ultrafine particles, trapping them in the filter and eliminating them from the air you breathe.
I’m lucky that I’m not an overly allergic person, but the rest of the people in my world seem to be allergic to so much. I like knowing that I have nice clear air in my home for my kids and any guests who are over visiting. And just because I don’t display the more obvious signs of allergies, eliminating bacteria, dust, mould spores, pet dander, etc. is very satisfying for me.
The Dyson Hot+Cool Link automatically monitors, reacts and purifies and sends the reports of your home’s air quality straight to the Dyson Link App so you can remotely control your home environment.
Being able to check the levels of VOC’s and microscopic particles from the Dyson app on your phone is such a cool feature. I excitedly went around the house checking each room.
Each day we take 20,000 breaths and consumers often believe that indoor air is better than outside air but in actuality, inside air pollution can be up to five times worse. Poor indoor air quality can be triggered in the home by some unsuspecting areas including gas stoves, scented candles, carpets, cleaning supplies and air fresheners
Dyson is challenging Canadians to take the #PurifierChallenge and for each Purifier purchased from June 30 – July 28, you will receive one filter replacement (valued at $99.99) before six months of usage. So, if you’ve been on the fence about getting a purifier for your home, now is definitely the time!!
