We have a new little trick for getting some extra zzz’s on the weekend. Portia (4.5 years) is usually the first one awake, so we’ve started a new routine with her in hopes of giving mommy, daddy and Madeleine an extra 30 minutes of so of shut-eye.
We were recently sent some boxes of Barbara’s organic cereals to test out and even the boxes are so much fun, we thought it would be a good idea to get Portia more involved in her own ‘breakfast-fetching’ in the AM.
This is our new set-up on the dinning room table before we go to bed at night. A box of opened cereal, a bowl, and a spoon. In the fridge, an easy-to-pour container with just enough milk and bowl of pre-washed and cut berries. Portia know to go grab the fruit and milk from the fridge and loves to make herself her own little breakfast.
Both the girls are really loving the Barbara’s Snackimals. (Ok ok… mommy is loving them too). They’re organic and have half the sugar content that most cereals have! Good start. Add to the list that they taste really good both dry (great snack to-go) and with milk and they’re definitely cereals that we would buy in the future.
Barbara’s cereals are proudly produced in Cobourg, ON, with wholesome, simple ingredients that are simply delicious. Their cereal and snack food products are low in sugar and made with non-GMO certified ingredients that are great for the whole family.
