Halloween is rapidly approaching and this year something completely OUTRAGEOUS happened over here! Instead of waiting (some may go so far as to call it procrastinating!) until a few days before Halloween to get my girls their costumes, I had their costumes hanging in their closets all ready to go by October 1st.
I am honestly the worst when it comes to getting organized for Halloween. I don’t know what it is, but every year I end up doing the same last minute frantic scramble to throw costumes together for the kids. But, as I said, not this year. This year, I went to Walmart Canada, got the exact costumes my girls wanted, AND the Halloween treats to hand out at our door… all within 30 minutes. Can you tell I am proud of myself?
The costume selection was really amazing at Walmart Canada. This was my first time getting Halloween gear there and I was pleasantly surprised.
I got costumes for the girls for under $30 each – making happy kidlets and an even happier mommy :P. The girls decided on their costumes MONTHS ago (yes, months!). Portia wanted to be a witch and Madeleine wanted to be a cat. Madeleine has been a cat the last 2 years in a row, so I was wondering if she would branch out, but nope, cat it is!
Ready for the big reveal?
How cute are these costumes? And for less than $30 each? Such easy choices! Not to mention the fact that they will make for great dress-up pieces once Halloween has come and gone.
There were some other costumes that I really loved at Walmart and was almost hoping the girls would pick them, but I am so happy with their final choices. These girls decide what they want and stick to it!
Check out the online selection of Walmart Halloween costumes HERE, or just do what I did and pop into your nearest Walmart store to see what they have to offer. You won’t be disappointed!
Wishing you all a safe and happy Halloween!
