I actually really love salads. Only if they have LOTS of great stuff in them (cheese and fruit and avocados really do it for me!) and only if the dressing is REALLY good!
If salads are not your thing, I promise you that this recipe for my homemade salad dressing will get you hooked on eating your greens! Seriously, this dressing is like dessert!
1 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp. honey (I use an orange blossom honey from Chilliwack, BC)
2 tsp. warm water
1 tbsp. dark chocolate balsamic vinegar
1 pinch salt
1 pinch black pepper
In a small bowl, dissolve the honey in the warm water. Gently whisk in the rest of the ingredients. That is all!
I specified that the balsamic be chocolate flavoured. That’s where you’ll really get the feeling that you’re eating dessert instead of a delicious, healthy meal! 😉 Find a bottle of it locally, here.
